Sewing became much more than a hobby to me when I started my sewing journey back in 2006.
Not only did it keep me sane during a time in my life that I was mothering young twins, but it also became a creative outlet and finally a job as they grew and my role as "Mom" changed.
Fitting was a real barrier for me in my early years of sewing and if it hadn't been for the bounty of talented sewing instructors that have crossed my path, I wouldn't be doing what I love with such success today. Do it! The classroom setting is relaxed while also being super informative. Whitney's approach is easy to understand and she communicates in such a personal way. This class is so valuable from beginner/novice to advanced. So many ways are presented of transferring fitting issues to our vast variances of body forms and sizes. The encouragement to keep moving forward, to keep trying, to not get stuck, and to rethink why one adjustment worked in one area and not another was so valuable.
